Gaylon Pyle

Director of Training and Consulting for Quality Advantage

As the Director of Training and Consulting for The Quality Advantage Gaylon has taught and consulted in the floral industry for eighteen years and has helped many florists across the United States and Canada improve profitability.

Gaylon conducts many training programs annually at floral businesses through the Custom Solutions Program. And he also presents approximately fifteen programs a year at state floral shows, floral conventions, floral wholesalers, etc.

A teacher by profession, seminar participants always learn strategies that will impact their business immediately. His audiences range in size from ten to 1,300 people and his presentations reflect his expertise and understanding of the many challenges that owners and employees face in the Floral Industry.

Gaylon started in this industry in 1988 as a business instructor for FTD and most recently as a business trainer and consultant for his own business, The Quality Advantage. Gaylon also draws his technical and business knowledge from his previous positions; Human Resource Director with The Marriott Corporation and Regional Training Coordinator with Marathon Oil Company. Gaylon holds a bachelors degree from Eastern Michigan University with an Accounting major.
